I was planning on getting the greasable one's to install with the steering brace from Marv. ES lists a 30MM - 1. 1811" & 32MM - 1. 259", and my Starret calipers say the bar is 1. 345". Has anyone used the 32mm bushings and NOT had a problem with the size difference?

Hmmm... 86 thousands

I would leave the end links off, grease the bushings and tighten the fittings while moving the bar to check for binding. I've had real good luck using Mobil 1 grease on poly bushings.

Could you post the Energy Suspension part #s for the greasable bushings (32mm) and the donuts for the end links?

Let us know how it handles and rides after the install

Summit had them in stock ENS-5-5126G (black) sway bar bushings w/grease fittings installed, and the end link bushings & washers. I can't install yet, can't find a 1-1/4 deep socket for the steering stab pitman arm extension nut.

I bought a "impact" 1 1/4 deep off Ebay for $2. 99 when I had trouble finding one locally.

I ordered one from MSC. Since it looks like I'll have to bore the center out for the bearing extension, it'll be one of my "special" sockets. If MSC shipped it Thursday, I'll have it Friday and do the install on Sat. I'll post back about the fit of the sway bar bushings then.

Thanks! I just ordered a set. I'm going to put a PSC steering box and DSS on very soon. I wanted to replace the bushings while I had it apart.

Install finished. Only 1 problem spot. The ES swaybar bushings are thicker toward the frame side than the factory bushings. The added thickness makes it a problem to slide the steering brace over the bushing on the driverside. The brace rubs both the swaybar and the frame side of the bushing, a little lube would help here. You also have to cut the factory bushings off, they have no slit like the ES bushings do. The outer steel brackets on the bushing needed to have the ears flattened to allow the bolts to thread in w/o galling the threads. I'll give it a test ride after the Busch race is over. The Solidsteel bracket and hardware fit great, Thanks, Marv.

I did the test ride this morning. It's just like virtually all here have said before, it works. The dead/vague/sloppy right off-center feeling is gone. The truck feels more like it did when I bought it.
