Engine Adapter Plate and Starter Questions

Getting all my seals in order for thw 5 speed swap. Came accross another question. Is there a gasket or seal between the engine adapter plate and the block? What about the bell housing to engine plate?



Also, is the starter the same for the 727 and getrag flywheel?
