Archived engine block 53 replacement??

I don't dought that this is the wrong place to ask but I will have to go to work in a few days and girlfriend dislikes ( she knows she doesn't know enought about what I ask her to do) doing these things for me. Some time ago there was a mention of engine blocks on ebay. for 99 to replace a 53 block. I am such a ludite. Thanks.

Well Bre says she is staying! :{ She sold the canoe the other year. :-laf So I shall have to replace the block and shall phone cummins monday and try that for an option? I have two more prices on the short and long block about $13,300 for short block and about $22,300. 00 for a long block. :--) It has been 5 days waiting to hear from the dollarshop that sold me the truck. They aren't going to phone back so WON'T be holding my breath. These are with taxes. Ohwell !!!
