engine block serial number

want to order a service manual. talked to a cummins service center, he said he needs the serial number off the block. (not vin number) woundering where it is located? thanks

If you order a service manual from Cummins, you will get only a manual covering the engine. If you order a Dodge Truck Factory Service Manual, it will cover the complete truck in addition to the engine. If you only want the engine manual, use the engine number on the label on the engine rocker arm cover along with the CPL number.

Paul you don't have your signature filled out so we don't know what you have. So far Dodge has not released the 2010 or 2011 service manuals in either softcopy(PDF) or hardcopy(paper). If you have a 2009 or earlier you can order the Dodge service manuals.
