Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Engine # Blocked By Chrysler

[Canadian Cummins]

Only In Canada Eh!!!!!!

I tried to order a thermostat & gaskets from Cummins, Eastern Canada in Montreal and started to get the run around.

Parts guy asks for engine # I give him the number (53621066), He comes back and says that the number is blocked by Chrysler, see Chrysler to unblock, cant sell me any parts cause of the agreement with Chrysler???



Well I go to 2 dealers & phone customer service Canada, NO HELP they dont know of anything like this, so I am back 360 degrees where do I go from here?

Any other Canadians had this run-around?

The only thing that comes to mind is if there was a warranty issue at some point and Chrysler voided the warranty. I am assuming that you are not the original owner. To get your parts, you may try ordering from an online dodge dealer in the US or maybe a cummins parts shop. good luck
