I've got about 14,000 miles on my new truck now. I've been noticing a little more power out of it. Is there any rule of thumb on when the engine should be broken in?
I've towed quite a bit with this truck (mostly loads around 10K), and I am still a little disappointed compared to my old dodge. It was a 2500 automatic, 4x4, and had a TST kit in it. It dynoed at 253hp/677ft-lbs. However, my new one does have one main advantage... it is a 6 speed
I keep wanting to add the TST box (something to grow into), but just can't bring myself to do it. I'm afraid it will add to spending lots more money on other stuff. Should I put some more miles on it before I do this, or does it really matter? Will Dodge know it was there, if warranty work is required?
Thanks,
Dave
