Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Engine Chrome

I'm pretty new to TDR but I've seen a lot of trucks in pictures with chrome on the engine and have heard it referred to as a chrome kit. Where can a guy get a chrome kit, how much is it, and what do you get, or can you buy it in piece-meal?

Geno's Garage carried it at one time, but I don't think they do anymore. The back order wait go so bad they gave it up. It's a Cummins product. I don't have the part numbers, but I'm sure that someone on this list has them. The kit consists of six valve covers, air horn, heater pipes, and alternator cover plus stainless hardware for mounting. The components can be purchased individually.

When I was at Cummins a few weeks ago, I was told that they discontinued the chrome kit... . Bummer! I am into show and shine, and was wanting to dress up the motor!

How can you run a Edge box on a 12V

I have a full set of parts valve covers, alt bracket, water tubes, intake horn that I send around for chroming so you don't have to have your truck down for weeks waiting ... . I had two sets but got stiffed by someone I won't name. If you are interested and can't get the kit ... I'll be happy to send you the stuff ..... PM me for details ...

THAT WOULD ROCK!!!! Let me call around tomorrow and get some prices, and I will let you know something for sure!! I know there is one place here in town, and their plating is top notch, though they send their stuff down to Mexico to get it done, and I dont know if you would need the stuff back in an alotted amount of time. if its not a concern, let me know. . I wont hog it, just saying that their plating is better, and takes a little longer...

Chrome Kit

I bought just the chrome 49 state intake for my 12v from Cummins west in San Leandro, CA I think it was 135. 00.
