Attention: TDR Forum Junkies I have been on the road for the past 4 weeks with the family and our 5th'er and approx. 2 weeks ago, I started experiencing issues where the truck would bump (miss) especially when under a load. Right before I left for this trip, I replaced the Crank Position Sensor (was getting error codes), installed Franz oil filter and replaced the Fuel Filter (wanted to install fuel presure guage, but it did not make it in time... . got backordered).
For me, there is no real point when I experience the miss. I have seen it when towing on the highway (sometimes after running for a while) as well as driving through the city running empty, but when it did, it would maked the truck almost jump. In an effort to troubleshoot while traveling, I tried something and unplugged the Banks modual to the pump and noticed the miss is not as hard, but it is still there.
If I make it back home, I hope my fuel gauge is waiting so I can hopefully rule out pump issues.
I will also try to reseting the ecm and the vacum trick, but I am not putting to much into this one.
