HELP! My engine has just started 'bucking' and 'cutting out' at around 2200 to 2400 RPM's under load or acceleration. I usually have my ''Edge Comp set on 1x3 with the 'wire' NOT hooked up to the VP44. But it also 'cuts out' with the 'Comp' turned off. I first noticed it after I turned the 'Edge Comp' off and then turned it back on while accelerating to see if it was working even as an 'EZ'. It was!, but then the 'cutting out' seem to start.

Floored, or under load up a grade, after 2500 RPM's, this symptom goes away. Also the 'bucking' not there when NOT under load or floored at 2200 to2400 RPM's.

I have two scanners hooked up to the truck all the time and everything is perfect on the screens with no codes now set and light on dash is off. It has set a code, in the past, a P0237;

'Turbo Boost Voltage A low', but I cleared it and 'till now, everything has been fine. Even with the code set it never 'stumbled', but just felt like a little power loss at take-off, however after clearing code, it has been fine.

Otherwise the truck is great, 113K miles, and is on a fairly new VP44 injection pump with my third lift pump at 10psi WOT.

Thanks in advance,

Bob in Sacramento (Home of the 'choker Kings' :( )

Check your wire harness connection to your Map sensor.

I had wired get pulled out of mine and caused alot of white smoke and stumbled.

Try what Justin said, personally I would unplug the data link, and restore the MAP sensor connection to stock... ..... and see if stumble goes away. Best to start with a "clean" slate.
