engine installation

well I am finally starting to work on my conversion after about a year of collecting parts. I have a couple of questions that I need answered. First where do you attach the lifting tab on the front of the engine? I can't seem to find an acceptable sized hole to put a bolt through. Second what advice would you give to starting an engine for the first time in about a year. Also does anyone have any pictures of a truck with an engine driven compressor on a 12v. Guess that's about it for now. Thanks

All 6b's and 4B's I've seen have lifting eyes on the engine from the factory. The front one is attached to the thermistat housing and the second on the opposit end attached to the block.
