engine light came on

I have an 04 555 3500 SRW 6 speed bone stock. today I hauled some stuff to the dump and while leaving my foot (was wet) slipped off the clutch and I stalled her. Now my check engine light is on. Anyone know what the deal is and will it clear itself???

Turn your key starting on the off position off and on 3 times with the key ending on the on position and tell us what numbers you see. .

normally within 3 restarts the light will go off, if there are no continuing problems.

I would find out what the code is by using the method described earlier. It all depends on what the code is as to how long it takes for the light to go off.

Thanks for the info guys, I did not get a chance to find out what code was set before the light went off. I guess was a little paranoid. If there is a next time I will check the codes before asking questions on here. Please forgive the stupidity??
