For the most part, it's nothing to be concerned with. Once in awhile the system gets confused (normally in cold weather, just after you drive off after a cold startup).
What happens is, the battery temperature doesn't show an increase over a short period of time. You might expect this to happen, especially if there's a bit of cold wind blowing over the battery.
It's nothing to be concerned with. The light will go out within 5 restarts, and the code will clear after 40 consecutive warmup cycles.
The only concern is if the light remains on longer than that, or if it goes out and returns regularly. That would indicate a failed temp sensor.
