have the timing checked, at a respectable diesel mechanic, 80% of 12V's the pump timing slips as soon as they drive off of the lot, stock timing is 12. 5*, they run the best at 17* but personally the difference between 15. 5* and 17* isn't worth the mileage difference. at 80k mine had slipped to 10*, wouldn't rev past 2000 rpm, raising the timing will make the truck run like a whole new truck, great difference in power... .
