My late 91 developed a miss on a long trip last Sunday night, The miss comes and goes. Temp seams to have nothing to do with it. but I did crack each injector line today and each cylinder was contributing, and at the time the truck was not missing. I am leaning on an injector fouling up, I will change fuel filter also. I called Cummins, they want 85 pr injector for stock only, another local diesel shop wanted 500 for a set of 85-100 horse up grade injectors witch seamed a bit overkill. I will look into piers, what do yall think of the 195's or the pod's? Thanks Jon

Just a thought, check the electrical connections to the fuel solenoid on the injection pump. There should be two connectors. Take the connections off and clean them and make sure that they fit nice and tight.

And after that run a heavy dose of injector cleaner thru the truck...

Also. . it makes no sense to me to buy new stock injectors... might as well upgrade while you're at it.

Hope this helps.

Jay

Thanks men, I have had the guts out of the fuel shutoff solinoid for quite a while been pulling a wire to shut it off :-laf . I will try the injector cleaner, today. Jon
