Yesterday going home from work got into it with a PSD, was fun. However, after a bit when I stuck my foot into it at 70-80 the engine would act lik it was missing and could not gain any speed. So, I just slowed to 60 for the next 20 miles or so and tried it again and the engine ran fine.

Was this just a fluke or will it do the same thing again? Time will tell. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, what was the solution?

Oh, the truck only has 1900 miles and the only mod. is an EZ Edge set at 3. Will get the Gauges on soon.

Thanks

Thanks Pit Bull, that's what I'm afraid of and only 1900 miles on the truck. Will Check it, and have to get gauges on soon.

Sounds fuel related. Might also change the fuel filter for grins as you could lose enough flow across it to not support WOT for long if it were dirty. I'm also wondering if the valve in the fuel tank to prevent roll-over spills is still an issue with newer trucks? Anybody know?

Bill if you take it to the dealer and describe your symptoms along with the key words that it "feels like it is losing power" they will check the lift pump pressure for you. That is what I did and they had a new lift pump installed within 45 minutes. Got to make them think it is there Idea :D

Thanks for the responese guys, this is a great place, I will be stopping at the dealer, although it has repeated the problem, YET.

Thanks again
