With stock injectors the truck has a slight miss in one of the cylinders. With the new set of 110hp bd injectors, the miss increases threefold and makes the truck sound like crap. I pulled all the injectors and pressure tested each cylinder and each one is within spec. I also pulled all the breather tubes out and one o-ring was slightly cracked so I replaced all the seals and it didnt fix a thing.

So whats next?? I am completely lost now because not only is there a miss but power is lower than what is hould be, with stock injectors I can still see 1200 degrees and mileage is less than 14 mpg empty and lucky if I can get 10 loaded with just 5k or so. What should I check next? And any shops around Lodi, CA that are reputable that I could take it too?

Thanks all,

Tristan

it could be as simple and a lose wire on the back of the comp..... seen that before.

try just un-hooking everything and see if that helps... . comp, Map plug, etc. etc.

take a close look at the plug on the back of the comp, make sure all the wires are in tight

keep us posted on what you find

I will let you all know, I know the wire that goes to the fuel pump fell out so that is a big possibility there.

My RASP is leaking fuel out of the shaft with the belt on it so I can run it a little but hopefully I get it fixed with Stephen at DTT ASAP :{

i would pull the valve cover and see if you have a valve that is not closing all the way, maybe something got missed when you did the injectors.

Scott

I did check the clearances on all of them and they were within spec. Then the full compression check, three times on each cylinder. Wouldnt that catch a stuck valve? If not please tell me what to look for

on the RASP make sure the belt is lose, 3'4 to 1" play side to side, that may fix your leak, or call DTT and they will send you a new up-dated seal,

who long has the miss been going on?

maybe check and clean all the electrical grounds,

RASP has a bad seal, new ones on the way. How the heck you get the old one out??

I will check the grounds tomorrow night when I put the RASP back together but what other grounds should I check beside the battery ones?

Tgibbs

Now see thats what very odd about the whole deal. When I ordered the RASP, I installed a new injector pump from II. BUT, (always one of those :{ ) the truck did the same thing before. It got worse when I bought a set of stock injectors from Olee (nothing against you at all, its the truck not the injectors, had two 100 hp sets and 2 stock sets!) It misses really bad with the BD sticks in.

Is there a way to isolate this down to one cylinder? Also any shops in the Lodi area that is reputable?

Thanks All

Tristan
