I have only had my CTD for about a month - love it!

I work at a place where we sell a turbo charged/intercooled gas vehicle and the first mod people usually do with it is get gauges. One of the most important gauges (I think) that they get is engine oil temp. In my experience it takes a lot longer to get engine oil temp up than coolant temp. I have looked at Geno's, which seams to be where most people are getting their gauges and did not see one available. Is this important on a CTD? I am planning on getting a boost gauge and EGT gauge as well. I don't do any towing, so I'm pretty sure I don't need a transmission temp gauge. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Oil temp is not a worry with these diesels... If you are modified, then it is not advisable to run over 30 lbs boost before the engine is near operating temp...

I would highly recommend a EGT and Boost gauge :)

I agree with Billua in terms of the importance of EGT and boost over oil temp. I happen to have an Isspro oil temp gauge, but it's more for "amusement" than anything else.
