Anyone regret going to a 4" exhaust

I just installed a Autometer electric oil temp guage in my truck. I put the probe in the top of the oil filter housing in the port that is centered over the filter. I took it for a ride and it heated up a little slower than the anti-freeze temp, the truck usually runs just under 200 on the factory anti-freeze temp guage, the oil temp stayed at 200 around town and then at a steady 2150 RPM on the highway it went to 210, once I got of the highway it went back down to 200. I was running empty, and it was 45 degrees out. What kind of temps are others seeing? It seems hot to me but I guess it would have to be at least as hot as the anti-freeze temp.

That seems hot to me too, I have the same gage and monitor the oil from the same spot, mine stays in the 160-170range.

I use the VDO Vision gauge mounted in the same location and typically track the water temperature plus 20-degrees. It also responds much slower than the water temperature.

I have a 180° T-Stat and a Westach gauge to monitor oil temp at the filter which stays at 190° while running unloaded. My oil temp will run a little closer to 200° with the winter fronts on.

On the highway with quite a bit of wind and 2200rpm mine ran a steady 200F. Dipped to 198 a few times but never went over 200F. I run the SPA's and my temp sensor is same location as yours.
