Have a 95' Auto with 145,000 miles on it. Ever since last fall (no bombing done) when ever I ran the truck for a couple of hours and then let it idle for even a second or two, the engine shakes so bad I can hardly stand it. Seems like it is only running on three cylinders. Last night, when I got back from camp it shook so bad that I litterally could not back into the garage. Thought that I was going to get thrown threw the window. The rpm's at idle with the air on in reverse was about 750 or so. If I reved it up to about 1200 rpm's, it would completely quit shaking.
I have checked everthing that I can think of.
Any thoughts????
Each time, not every time, that it does this it gets a little worst. Even at city speeds, 25-30mph or more, you can't tell that there is anything wrong.
