Engine Programers

Have a friend with an '07 1T DRW Qcab 5. 9l 6spd and he has been asking about which programmer would be best for his truck. (I'm a 12valver - '98)



At this point it is completely stock apart from an intake (Voilant I believe) and exhaust, which were on when he purchased the truck.



At this point he is not looking at changing hard parts but may in the future, and I suggested looking at something that will cover future bombing as well as once the "bug bites - it won't let go":-laf



Just wondering what the suggestions out there might be.

I agree with the Smarty, keep it on the lower power settings until he beefs up the trans.
