The thing is 2 gen 24v trucks will start and run with a bad transfer pump and without a fuel pressure gauge you will not know you're ruining the VP pump. Then comes time and just dies, truck runs rough, fails to start... With this code I'll test the VP pump. Hopefully it's not it. Hopefully the transfer/lift pump is good, clean fuel filter, no restriction in the tank, tight connections. My in tank pick up was clogged up, sometimes lowering my pressure to 0 psi. Once I saw that I dropped the tank and removed the screen, installed Drawstraw and new fuel lines from tank to the VP-44. Not and issue after that. But I have always monitored my fuel pressure since new. Thanks to the folks here on TDR, you guys have saved me thousands.
