While I have my block and head out of the truck what are some good power adders to have done to it while it is at the machine shop other than porting the head. Keep in mind this truck will not be a street truck any more. :D

A few more questions:

What would be a good bore size? Is bigger better?

Where to get a good set of over-sized pistons?

What would be a good cam size?

Go with the 14mm studs from Haisley. Firerings, O rings, don't forget main studs too for added lower end strength.

I think a common size to bore is . 050 over, but don't quote me on that. Arias makes good pistons to any specs you want.

If you want a killer cam and your pockets are deep I'd contact Sheid Diesel for one of their billet cams, they can also set you up with the pistons flycut to match the cam.

I know PDR carries a higher-quality piston replacement but not sure what it is. I would also install a mains girdle, and of course balance the entire assembly. Be sure to get a cam with bolt-on gear. There's several good choices out there such as PDR, F1, Diesel Dynamics, & Enterprise Engine.
