Which is better??

Anyone else having a problem with the engine stalling when going into drive? I don't get it all the time but I always have to look out for it. Happens most often going from reverse to drive.

Troy, you don't suppose your TC is going into lock-up mode inappropriately? I'd suggest calling Bill Kondolay at DTT and ask him about it.

JR2, Mike Crossley went through this , what it turned out to be was that the tps voltage was too low. They had this repaired under Chrysler tsb 15-08-00 which symptoms are discribed as hard starting when the vehicle is hot, while i realize that is not the symptoms you are having, believe me when i say this, get the reflash done.

Bill is totally correct, I even went so far as changing injectors and what not to find out it was the dam computer. Reflash did not affect power or millage at all.

I,ve had this happen to me once, like yours it was going from reverse to drive. Has it been getting worse or is it still an intermittent problem. I also noticed my transmission temp was way high after it did that, or they could of been high before it stalled.
Bill, interesting you should mention that the tsb is for hard starting when hot,as last summer before i installed your vb & tc,my truck would not fire up as quick on those hot days when running the a/c. Does the heat affect the voltage? Sounds like i should get this reflash done .
