Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) engine stalls at idle, only starts will pedal,

I have a 97 manual with a plate and 3k springs I had my idle set at 900 And driving home from work it stalled, It restarted with pedal and would have stalled again if I would have let off, it ran fine so I kept driving when I got home the Idle was fine. I full fueled it to the governor and when it came back down it died. I restarted and played with the throttle some more, sometimes it would idle sometimes not. I have tried adjusting my governor springs one click each way and it did not change anything. I finally set my idle to 1200, but it still wont start with out the throttle. Any Ideas???

Can you check the fuel pressure? Sounds like you have a dying LP to me.

will check tomorrow, I havent noticed any loss of power, still get 35 psi of boost, and good power off idle. just starting and idle problems. Is this normal with low fuel pressure?

pressure good, pulled inject. pump, found shim from gov. spring wedged in the the fuel lever inside the governor housing.
