I have experienced on occassion in my '05 some engine stumble at low rpm's with the automatic transmission in drive. . Is this normal??

Are you sure it's a stumble? I notice with mine sometimes while I'm sitting at a stop in neutral when the A/C clutch kicks on I get a little "bump" (for lack of a better word) that I can feel through the floorboards. Only occassionally, and it can be confused with a stumble if you don't know what it is...

This is most definitely a stumble. . it's only happened maybe two or three times. . the most noticable was going uphill at low RPM's at about 7500 feet elevation. .

Well, we've reached the limit of my ideas! It's going to be really tough to diagnose unless the ECM catches it in the act and trips a code...
