Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Engine stumble

I purchased my 99 new and never had it in for any updates due to no problems. Now retired and using it to tow a heavy trailer. The engine stumbles at highway speeds during acceleration. I have found an item in the service bulletins in the TDR issue # 30 page # 66 under category # 18. It refers to engine #s which include mine. Can I get this update done at Cummins or a Dodge dealer ? What may be the cost if any. TSB # 18-24-99 00 (BR) 11/15/99.

suggest you get the codes read first you may have other problems that the up dates wont fix. like injection pump, or lift pump.

Have some more info. on stumble

Lift pump mounted near tank, pressure 12 plus depending on outside Temp.

I will have any codes read in a few days.
