Engine Stumbles After Starting

I Need Help With This Problem, At First Startup In The Morning My Engine Stumbles , It Runs Smooth For About 90 Seconds Then Engine Darn Near Shuts Off But Catches And Runs Smooth , This Happends For About 4 Or 5 Times Then Runs Smooth, Little bit of Smoke When It Happends, It Seems To Happen When The Ambiant Temp Is At Or Below Freezing, I Have 125,000 Miles On The Engine, The Injector Pump Was Rebuilt About A Year Ago, It Has A Raycor Water Filter Seporator, I Also Have A Problem After I Change The Fuel Filters, I Fill The Filters With Fuel But It Runs For A Few Minutes Then Quits, I Crack The Injector Lines , Crank Over Till I Get Fuel Tighten Them And Start But It Runs A Short Time And Quits Again, Finaly It Gets It And I Dont Have A Problem Untill I Change Filters Again, I May Have To Do That 7 Or 8 Times Befor It Runs Proper.

Sounds like you are getting air in the system somewhere. Fuel lines, and then check the fittings on your Racor set up.



What color is the smoke? That will make a difference.
