Pulling 12k 5th wheel from Chicago to Florida when engine started stumbling and check engine light came on. Dealer in Thomasville GA got a P0341 code and changed out cam shaft position sensor. I also changed out air cleaner, fuel filter, and oil. They also flashed computer "skim secret code" ?? Was ok for about 100 miles, then stumbling started again. Have appointment Monday with dealer in Venice FL on Monday. Any Ideas?

very possibly your lift pump has had it's days. I would install a aftermarket like GDP's kit if that is your problem although, I guess you're under warranty.

Myabe you got a bad tank of fuel too ? I know you changed the filter but if the bad fuel was still in there.....

Have put in 3 tanks of gas since stumble started. Truck is still under warranty. I just checked codes on speedo, got a P0477, and p0341.

well I do hope it was fuel and not gas you put in  I'm sure it was :)

these are the codes. . sorry, I don't know what to tell you about them. Seems though, changing the cam sensor didn't help/ Man, you really gotta wonder about these dealers sometimes.

P0477 - Exhaust Pressure Control Valve Circuit Low Input

P0341 - Camshaft Position Sensor A - Bank 1 CKT Range/Perf

thanks for looking up the codes, not sure what the exhaust pressure control valve circuit low input is. Just topped off with more "diesel" fuel and will head toward dealer appt in am. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know!

A new APPS (Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor -aka a bellcrank) was shipped from another dealer Friday 8/3. Apparently the first 3 were defective. We drove back Chicago, about 1300 miles with no check engine lights or bucking or cutting out. I give credit to the mechanic who had to trouble shoot this problem. I'm sure he didnot cover his warranty $$$. I hope Dodge can come up with a fix for these defective bellcranks. It's been a very frustrating 2 Weeks. Thanks to all who replied!

I have an 04. 5 and mine stumbles every once in a blue moon. Never did it till I had about 7 k worth of work done in april. I can't make it do it or even predict when it does it. Dealer said it was my imagination. It went 2 months from the last time but it just did it again yest. I hate that cause I never know if it's gonna leave me stranded. I never get any codes or cel's. What a pain in the ***.

Mine stumble pretty bad every time I spray the engine compartment with water while cleaning. There must be some water getting into a connection somewhere. Lasts for two or 3 days or until the water finally dries up. Last time I did this was a few weeks ago. I won't be doing it again for a long time I think.

code 0477

I had same code on mine and it is low voltage to the relay for the jacobs brake. The light green wire in the brake control harness goes to the ECM ( this is installed a part of the brake control installation). This light green wire should have 12+ volts on it when the shift selector switch is in the OFF position.

I wiggled the wire where it went into the ECM and it has been great since.
