Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Engine Surges

I own a 2002 HO 6sp with AFE air filter, 4in exhaust, and no muffler. Plus an Edge EZ box. When traveling down the interstate at 60-65 mph, the engine will surge appox. 200-300 rpm. Recently, it has been getting worse. The Edge EZ box has been unplugged. But, the problem still exists. It also has been idling bad. Any ideas what might be the problem????

I have read that some people have had some problem with the edge ez box I don't know must about them but I would start by changing my fuel filter

The fuel filter was changed at the first of the year but the problem still exist. The surging started in December after the Edge EZ box was installed. I only recently unplugged the box. The truck has not been driven much since the box has bee unplugged.

Any codes??? What your fuel pressure at????

The engine light has never came on during this period. We are not sure were to connect to test the fuel pressure. Sunday, February 19th, we unhooked the Edge EZ box and this week it is running good and I have not heard any surging when traveling down the interstate. At this point, it does seem to have been the Edge EX box causing the problem.

This sucks because the truck lacks the power that the box gave it. :{
