2002/2500/2WD/Cummins H. O. with 6 speed manual. At highway speed (65mph) on flat road towing my 5er, Boost 10psi and turbine temp 800, fuel pressures steady at 13 psi, engine will fall off dramatically, losing boost and EGT simultaneously. If I add throttle and boost, the problem will go away for about 1 minute and then return. I'm suspecting one of the sensors is faulty but unsure about which one. I seem to recall that the IAT and MAP sensors will cause these types of power surging. Anyone with similar experience? I don't want to take it to the Dodge House, since I don't have more money than good sense. As a afterthought, the VP44 is 1 year old and the throttle position sensor is 18 mos old. :{
