I just got my transmission beefed up so now it is time to start on the

engine. What is the sequence of the upgrades? I want to start out

doing this right and would like help on the proper way to get more

power out of my diesel.

Thanks, Lance

Upgrades

My first bomb after the trans upgrade was a fueling box. I went with a used EZ box. Injectors are a great upgrade as well. The EDM style are suppose to run cooler (EGT's) & smoke less. Do you have a HiFlow air-filter? Do you have 4" exhaust? MOST IMPORTANTLY..... DO YOU HAVE GUAGES? Guages are the MOST IMPORTANT bomb you should start with if you don't already have them.

Update your signature so everyone knows what you've got & don't have yet.

Happy Bombing!

Fill out your signature so we know what type of truck you have. 12v or 24v what kind of things are done to your transmission, blah blah... ...

Then tons of info will most likely pour in...

Well i guess we are in the 24v forum so i would first definately start out with guages, check your fuel pressure, get a carter pusher pump and put it inline right next to the tank. then get a fueling box/ timing box. Depending on what you are wanting to do with your truck then that decides what box to get. If you want rpm then go with the redline box from blue chip. If you want a awesome all around box fueling and timing then go with the edge comp. Then a set of injectors small good set would be the rv275's if you are wanting lots of horse power go with a good set of injectors. If you want lots of hp then call JR at Adkins diesel performane he can help you set up your truck. He mostly only builds big injectors and stuff. Then you are going to need a turbo and JR is definately your man there.

For a fueling or timing box call Bill at BRC diesel he has the absolute best prices on guages, fueling or timing boxes and air intakes.

Both of those guys can help you out a lot and their prices are more than competitive.

Their numbers are in my signature above.
