Engine is gone.



I posted it for sale just before dyno day in Monroe and it sold right away.

Scott from Vermont bought it and I ran it in my truck until wednesday. Crated it up and shipped it out friday. I'm sure it will be right at home in Scotts 1st gen.



In the mean time I'm running a stock engine that Piers bought for a shop spare until my engine is finished. I put a 12cm wg on it and tweaked the pump. Even with stock inj and the wastegate opening at 22psi and fully opening at 30, the old girl is pushing 34psi. After passing air care for insurance I will be installing POD's to wake her up some more.



Found a non 53 storm block and tore it down friday in the shop along with a few other engines for some customers. Parts everywhere. Droping off parts tommorrow for balancing and blue printing are in the works along with custom parts and my new marine 24v head is at the head shop for the works. Stupid pump, flycut ceramic top pistons and custom cam will be the heart of the motor. :D Can't wait.
 
You know, I'd just like to say this... ... .

I'm dissapointed that Wildman didn't go for 350 or more RWHP first. I'd really like to see what you could have done with more time mark. I'm positive you could have coaxed a bit more outta the ole girl before she was adopted by Scott.



Well, I guess one of us better get off his/her butt and fill his shoes pretty quick... . :)

Well I did attemp to dyno 2 times but as you know you and I had a mix up as I wanted someone to verify my dyno run. And the other time I broke my flex plate 1 mile from the dyno and had to have Piers trailer my truck all the way home. :mad:



I did have somemore to add, maybe around 340hp with stock inj and close to 400hp with xxx inj's. Oh well. :rolleyes:
