Two FREE things to try:
1. Get both of your batteries load tested. Not just using a voltmeter, but under load. Most AdvanceAuto/O'Reilly's/NAPA/Autozone retailers will do this for absolutely free.
2. Start checking for corrosion.

Did you try disconnecting your grid heater and trying to start it? That sucker can draw upwards of 200 amps.

I'm sure others will chime in.
 
2022 I'm the second owner and as far as I can tell they're the original batteries. The truck has been sitting for about 5 weeks while I was in the hospital if that helps. Tried jump starting it but that didn't work.
 
I have never had OE batteries last more than 2 years. I have had to replace at least one battery under warranty on all of my Rams around the 18 month mark.
 
If it's similar to the 2018 I had, sitting for 5 weeks likely drained the batteries. Should be able to charge them, but might not last long. I had to replace mine after they died when the truck sat for only 3 weeks.
 
Funny I pulled sideways across our double driveway with my old 99 and ran in to get something and came back wouldn’t even turn over click click . It like coming out and your truck has a flat tire in your garage. Pretty lucky
 
Put a noco 2.0 trickle charger on the passenger side battery and keep it plugged in when you not using. They don’t make battery’s like they to

Yep, a battery maintainer is a man's best friend OR a battery disconnect.

It's not so much the batteries, it's really how much current these newer (not just RAM trucks) draw when sitting. It does a number on batteries.

During the summer, my truck doesn't get driven much. Last year, I remember riding the motorcycle for 3 weeks straight! I have a Schumacher on board battery tender on all of my vehicles, and it works great for those long times between driving it.

I'm one of those who don't go out unless it's for work or absolutely necessary. Most of the time my daily driver will sit all weekend till Monday morning to go to work, and then I combine errands... saves me fuel, wear and tear, and even potentially getting in a wreck!
 
Definitely agree with a trickle charger when not in use. I’m a big fan of NOCO.

Doesn’t matter where you hook into the 12V system, but it is recommended to not put the neg between the IBS and the battery.
 
I would go with a trickle charger versus a battery disconnect. I don’t know how the truck would react with no power at all for any period of time. It may make it want to relearn everything every time you turned it back on.
