guys, could someone help? I'm new to td's. My '95 started to get hard to start in the morning. The other day it cut off 3 times in less than a mile to my house. I recently had a new pick-up pump installed. Would apprediate any advice on this. KPittman

check the fuel shut off solinoid

Kpittman give us some more info.

you said 95 is it auto or manual. what RPM's does it idle at?

how old is your fuel filter? did you clean out the pre-filter screen?

where did you buy your last tank of fuel from, do they sell a lot of diesel there?

did it die from an idle, like at a stop sign, while you were on the throttle taking off or cruising. what?

there are alot of good guys on here, hang on and they (we) will help you out. what ever you do dont just ship it off to a dealer without at least trying to find out the problem. even if you can't repair it yourself.

Since you just did the transfer pump I'm going to guess that you have a loose/poor fuel line connection that's sucking air.

problem fixed

Thanks everone, someone told me about the check valve in the return line of the injector pump and this has apprently fixed the problem at least for now, also i discovered i had only four or five gallons of fuel left in the tank. Long story short, we pulled out friday afternoon for the spirit of suwannee music park in Live Oak, Fl. Every thing was fine until I turned my emergency flashers on and blew some fuses, so we got home right at dark with now trailer lights. Anyone ever have this problem blowing a fuse when you switch flashers on? Thanks, KPittman
