Dog Story here too

When I was much younger, we had a billy goat in our back yard as a pet. It was tied up on a 20 foot chain, had a dog house, and basically just ate our grass.

At any rate, there were two Alaskan Malamutes that lived maybe 1/4 mile away through the woods in back of our house. One day they decided to attack our goat. We gave our goat away right after that, but I noticed that the dogs kept coming around.

I decided to put my criminal mind to work... I put out a few sponges soaked in bacon grease in the back yard. I really don't know what happened to them, but both the dogs and the sponges "disappeared. "

Eric, Don't ya know that your supposed to put that dog crap in a paper sack, light it on fire, and then ring the doorbell and run like hell. LMAO
"We" used that trick for a Halloween prank. One time this guy came out and stomped it out with bare feet, heh heh hehk.

It's a shame you need to resort to such things since the owner's are at fault. You problably did the neighborhood a favor though.

I don't worry to much about dogs getting into my horse pasture. I have one mare in particular that will attack and stomp any dog or cat she can get to. Strange thing is she is the most people friendly horse I have.

I have 2 saddle mules in my pasture with my horses that take care of unwanted canine visitors. Both of them are deadly with those hind legs. The Wife's mare currently has a 3 week old foal and she will only allow myself and the wife in the pasture and paddock she is in. She is more of a biter than a kicker though. She took a bite out of the wifes Akita the other day. It stopped to scratch instead of following us out of the paddock and she walked up behind it and bit it on the rearend. The dog is missing a 3 inch square junk of hair. LOL

Anyone ever seen what a llama can do to a dog? I've heard about it but never seen it. There are some guys around here that have sheep and keep one with them to protect them. I guess they're just plain he** on dogs and coyotes.

The wife and I just looked at a farm that had llamas. I was surprised to see that they had hooks for feet!!

I'd hate to think what could happen if you got slashed with one of these!
