With my old combination on my 06, I had been entering a 25'' tire when my actual tire size is around 28. 5''. I just did the math (if it's correct) and my top speed should go up approximately 3. 3 mph per 1'' shorter tire entered. On previous drag strip runs, my top speed was always 112-113 mph in the quarter with the 28. 5'' drag radial. I just realized I wasn't entering a small enough tire size on the Smarty. I guess this explains somewhat why the truck only picked up around . 15 of a second after I installed dual CP3's (12. 3x to a 12. 21 at the same mph). I'm now running a much more radical setup than before, and need big mph. Would it be safe to enter an 18'' tire size? Would it screw up the ABS or anything else? I've tried downloading the new Smarty program that gets rid of the speed limiter, but it always says "page cannot be found". . I need something to run near 130 with a 28. 5'' tire for this weekend. . Even if it won't hit near that mph, I'd like to know it's not the limiter holding it back. Since the 12. 21 pass, I've installed twin turbos, much larger injectors with modded bodies, trans work (it was revving between shifts before), 5'' exhaust, fluidampr, intercooler, studs, air horn, exhaust manifold, 3. 42 gears, fuel cell, and more. . It won't be fast enough to win this weekend, yet I would like to put a decent time down. Any help is appreciated. . Thanks. .
