GREAT experience with J&H Performance

Anybody out there running a cam from Enterprise Engine Performance in a 24 valve? If so i have a couple questions.

1. How much did it lower egts?

2. Did it effect overall power output or just lower spool up rpm?

3. Did it raise or lower boost pressure at wot.

4. How does this cam compare to piers, diesel dynamics or other vendors?

The reason im asking these question is because im going to enterprise to have my block oringed in preparation of installing my twins & they are the closest shop to me. I am thinking of having there cam installed while i am there. I talked to them about there cam but i wanted some info from somebody who has this cam in there truck & has some first hand experiance with enterprise engine. . Thanks for any replies. kurt.

If anything, it is one of those, "They have it apart, may as well do that too. " kind of situations, like when replacing the timing belt on a car, do the water pump while you are there.

I have the cam in my truck and it works great. It lowered the egts, gained power and definitily helped spool up the turbo faster. It's all in all a good cam and the head will already be off to o-ring it, so go for it.

Propuller, I have the standard cam, it dropped egt's 200 deg. It spools quicker without a doubt, and cut down on the smoke quite a bit. I dyno'ed before and after the cam , no gain to talk about,2hp. I also added a . 20 over head gasket, all in all I think It was one of the best mods I have done to my truck so far.

I don't know much about the other cams.

I left my brain at work! The main thing I forgot to mention was on the dyno, my peak torque and horse power came in 400rpm sooner. So even though you may not gain any HP you put it to the ground sooner, its all good, no drawbacks.

Thanks Jarhead that is exactly what i wanted to hear i will definetly go with the cam while its in the shop & already halfway tore down. Thanks again Kurt.
