Saga2.... I did in-depth testing with the Best equipment I can get My hands on...IMO FCA will be found violating the standard...Not only failing to disclose.. the tail pipe will be found to emit levels of NOx above the certification.


The EGR actuator can be manipulated, The EGR Valve with just electronic stick can be defeated W/O no codes or side effects. My guess The actuator will be found to be a defeat device.....
 
Things can't be too bad for ecodiesels. I see the 2017s 1500 ecodiesels are now at the dealers and EPA approved. BTW, my 2015 exhaust looks as clean as any gas rig. No soot anywhere. I changed the oil again and after 1400 miles since it still looks clean on the dipstick. I've switched to Shell T6 Rotella. Funny but I've never seen it approved for 2014 or 2015s, just 2016 and newer. If it's good for them, it's going in my truck. Right? :-laf

The 2017s are restricted by court order........ In other words they were un-jailed and No 18s are possible to post orders. Its the NOx and the COC violations You can read the WHO compliant filed By the DOJ on behave of the EPA. and the EPA disclosure is solid very solid.....FCA has sunk this vehicle in a quagmire of controversies by Corp bad decisions.
Its a Hero or Zero Status, My 15 38K miles is solid and the OAs show robust rotating mass.

FCA is flooding the Dealers with the 17 Stock built and Stored, Some owners are reporting Dec 16 Build dates. Most dealers expected FCA to dump them , looks like its happening.
 
Maybe the Ecodiesel will go the way of my Liberty CRD..............No love and a good used market because nobody knows how to fix them! Hopefully I can find one with a popped engine some day. :-laf
