First I've seen that. Wish I'd seen this prior to de-badging! I've always used a fine scotch bite disk to clean up the pan and a plastic putty knife and hand pad to clean bottom of the trans. Silicone rtv much different the adhesive, but might work better than expected. If using one, report back on outcome so that others can either add to toolbox or just do as we have been.

Yes, I have. It doesn’t work nearly as well as it does on a decal or double sided foam tape. You’ll want to use a razor scraper on it first to get it as thin as possible.

Has anyone used an eraser wheel to remove the silicone gasket sealer from a transmission pan?

I used a soft wire brush on a drill to do mine ,worked pretty well. I have read where some have used the gasket with success instead of using the silicone , anyone tried the gasket ?

I have used the gasket with a touch over copper cement to hold to pan. Been 30K with no leaks! Won't hesitate to do gasket again on the next fluid change. Have done both ways on different vehicles. Guess more of personal preference.

As an update, I tried the eraser wheel today. It didn’t work. I instead scraped as much as I could an then used a bronze bristle wheel on a bench grinder. It worked pretty well. It didn’t remove all of the silicone, enough to make a smooth surface though. I used the Mopar sealant.
