Attention: TDR Forum Junkies 
My buddy just called and said his 98. 5 3500 CTD is acting up. He is at a gas station kind of stuck for now. Anyway, the problem is his spedo bacame eratic and then finally died if I remember correctly, then a little bit later the truck started downshifting till it got to second gear where it stayed and cruising about 20 mph. I stopped and let it sit for about 2 hours while looking for the problem, then started it again and drove the rest of the way home with no problem. Andy help would be appreciated... ... ... . If this is posted in the wrong forum, I apologize.
