ok guys i unplugged both connectors under the hood... alll this did was turn off my parking brake... . the abs light still came on..... cant figure this one out now because i thought i had it all unhooked am i missing somethign????HELP!!!

Mine was a little different as I had the brake, ABS and no Speed O all at the same time, ABS sensor on the rear end took care of it but I check it with a meter then checked the new one before I bought it (stealer aprts guy looked at me funny) Checks good now.

Under the center of the dash just below the ash tray is a box with a connector plugged into the top of it, this is it. Your em/park brake light will still work fine as well as the speed-o but the ABS+Brake light will be gone. :)

ok i took apart my dash but the only "box under there" was a box with 2 connectors on top a green one and a white one..... i disconnected that ... nothing... hooked it back up... . cant figure it out... anymore hints... .

I have been battling this problems for years. I either have to replace my rear wheel speed sensor, (sensor on top of rear diff) or repair wiring under there. Driving extremely fast on gravel for 1/2 of my trucks life makes everything around the back half of my truck take a beating. Little wires and that cheap little gaurd around the RWSP don't stand a chance. Made a big heavy-duty one out of 2 inch angle iron! Wrapped wire with fuel hose... ... ... . but it still takes a pounding. Something to check out... ... .
