Eureka! Finally Ordered 2008-UH OH SCREWED AGAIN
Dealer had the Chrysler computer people "fix" the ordering system and we were finally able to order my new 2008. Will take about 6 weeks to take delivery. Needless to say, after waiting for months to get the right combination, I am very excited. My dealer has spent more time and effort to get me the right truck than I have ever experienced before and I have bought many, many new vehicles. Give him a try if you can not make the right deal for yourself. His name is Ken Reese, general manager, Lone Star Dodge in Sulphur Springs, Texas. Phone 903-885-2600. Honest to goodness, this man will bust his butt for you to try to make the right deal on the right truck. My wife and I are anxiously waiting the delivery sometime after Christmas. The first ADD-ON will be to have the lower body painted the light khaki color since Dodge does not offer that on the dually 4X2. Then a spray in Line-X bed liner and chrome steps and grill guard. Everything else should be exactly as I wanted, thanks to Ken. Let us hope everything will be as close to perfect as my other Dodge TD Cummins have been.
Oo. #@$%!#@$%! Dealer called to say the factory will NOT build a 4X2 3500 dually with 40/20/40 leather Laramie seats. NO wonder Dodge trucks are number 3 rather than 2 or 1... They have such stupid rules that NOT ONE single person has an explanation for. Just "thats the way it is". Phooey, bah humbug... #@$%!#@$%!
