truck box-how to keep condensation from forming

dpf suggestions

I just installed my EV2 gauges and used the dimmer install kit so I could adjust the brightness of the back-lights. I have it tied to the factory dimmer first, then the EV2 dimmer kit. When I adjust the factory brightness down to where I like (pretty dim) the EV2 lighting "pulsates" or flickers. If I turn it up a bit they are fine. Has anyone else seen this?

I believe the little computer inside each EV2 gauge requires a certain minimum voltage to be present on the lighting circuit before it decides the truck instrument lighting has been turned on. By dimming the truck lighting circuit so much you must be getting the voltage down right around the minimum causing the gauge to cycle the lighting on and off.

I'd recommend calling Isspro and ask to speak to an engineer for more info... they're very helpful. I had an EV2 transmission temp gauge acting strange when the transmission fluid was cold, so I called Isspro and spoke to an engineer. He had me send him the gauge for reprogramming. That did the trick and it's perfectly ever since.

Good luck,

Mine was the same and I did as Kry226. Not optimal but it works. I have to say I like the lighting og the EV2's the best at night. My DiPricos are darn near impossible to read during twilight hours. I have the DiPricos mounted on top of the dash.
