Evans NPG+

I've done a little reading on this stuff. A few of the Goldwing guys really like. Just wondering if anyone is running it in their Cummins. At $25. 00 a gallon, it's pricey, but would it be worth it?

Evans NPG+ Waterless Coolant is the recommended coolant for all gasoline and diesel engines. NPG+ is a stand-alone lifetime coolant that does not freeze, or boil over. NPG+ controls detonation, cavitation, and is non-corrosive. Installing NPG+ requires the radiator, engine block and heater core to be drained completely and then filled 100% with NPG+. A free test strip is included with purchase as a guide to successful conversion.

The only thing about running this coolant is that it's hard to get all the water out of the old system. I've toyed with idea of using it, but the installation hassle (water is a CONTAMINANT with the NPG), I've decided that for now, the regular OTC Fleetguard coolant is best for me.

I know on the diesel stop most of the Ford owners run it in the 7. 3. I've been running since Oct. 2001. With NPG+ just rinse the engine out with distilled water a couple times and fill with NPG+ and warm the engine. The water will boil off and NPG+ level will drop. You can buy it cheaper than $25 a gallon.
