Vibration moan from your auto at 75 mph?

I have a 2005 2500 cummins 4sp auto... I have a bout 20,000 miles on it. . I have noticed that at speeds between 70 and 75 I will get a vibration/moaning noise from what sounds like my transmission. . Its weird it doesnt do it at 69 and it doesnt do it at 78 mph. I have my exhaust straight pipe from the turbo back. It did it before i did this and still does it after. Has anybody had any problems with this also?

Yup. Done it since new and for 50k. Took the muffler off so I don't notice it now. :-laf

It seems to be some kind of harmonics. Several people have had the same thing and when they replaced the chintzy flex plate and weeny TC the noise went away. Go figure. :D

I had the same vibe your describing. Strang thing is, when I had my trans and convertor done, the vibe completely disappeared... ?
