Ever had this happen?

Got in the truck the other day and started to take off right away. The truck was acting like I had the parking break on (HUGE LAG) and the oil guage read "0" psi. The truck didn't want to go. Quickly I shut off the truck, waited a few seconds and restarted. Back to normal..... Good oil pressure and no lag! Never did get a check engine light.



Question: What the heck happened? By starting so quickly did I not click far enough with the key to engage all of the electronics? I'm at a loss. At least everything works fine now.

It sounds like one of the "featuers" of Microsoft Windows. Maybe Bill Gates is writing the software for the ECM now.
