all of ups 7500-7075 are the AC60 and AC6000 all 75 are 6000 horsepower

Yeah they did, and they ended up de-rated to 4400hp, but it seems CSX is re-rating them at 6000, not sure about UP.

Yep, They knocked 'em down cuz they said they wouldn't hold the rail any better at low speed than an AC4400 (at the time). Now they have "supercharged" AC4400s that will load to 1800-2000 amps. We're runnin' them across our territory on unit coal trains (95 cars). Maybe they figured out how to rate them up again and still hold the rail. I know one thing-----the AC6000 motors sounds REAL GOOD!

Yeah, I love how those 6000's sound. Especially up in the mountains on the Boston line on a heavy Q283 or Q264

Interesting bit of trivia, but the first hummer demo for the army was built by Chrysler, used a Duetz.
