A week or so ago I saw a powerpuke hauling what looked like a relatively light load. The back end of it was really squating down like it was hauling a real heavy load. (It was a flatbed trailer with a light load) I then started to notice that powerpukes seem to squat down in the back no matter how light the load... even a two by four or a box of Oreo cookies seems to push the powerpukes load envelope. Well maybe that's a little extreme but take notice then next time you see a powerpuke with a load.
P. S. I thought Ford was gonna get their act together when thay got rid of the V8 powerpuke and went to a six cylinder. I had envisioned an inline six cylinder like the Cummins and they went to a V6 configuration. When are them Ford boys gonna learn. Well... 10 years from now maybe the next generation powerpuke will be done the right way. My old '02 Cummins will probably still be clattering away or maybe on it's 7th owner.
