"Alright, we only made two pulls, both were with TST on 2/2 and the EZ on the highest settings. With the CLDL the truck made 615 rwhp and just over 1500 tq. With the Smarty, the truck made 660 rwhp and 1647 rwtq! All this with the SP66 and 90hp injectors... I was very happy with the tq #'s for the first runs. We'll wait and see how it does with a much bigger set of Flux's! (Hint Hint DON M)...

So yes, back to back the Smarty on Level 8 outperformed the CLDL by 45hp"

That post was taken from DTR.

Where on this planet, on any city streets is that useful?Sounds like a shortage for something else lol  . . no not jealous of the numbers, trust me. .

Question:Does anyone make use of their truck anymore as it was intendid?I Know you're not pulling trailers for a living with that power

" use as intended"???? not every one hauls cars or horse every day for a living. . . mine is a extra vehicle to plow snow , dump 2 yards of dirt and have fun with . . i am building a gooseneck hitch . . so i can gooseneck . . but i don't have one yet . . etc. . i think it would be cool to have big power and tow. . im sure if you set it up right you can still tow cool with say 500 and 1200 ft lbs. . i am way way below that but working on it heheh

later

I just have 659 hp and trust me I use it on the street everyday... On this planet he uses it sledpulling. And knowing Adam Im sure he uses it on the street as well... You live on a boring planet :-laf Everyone should know what it feels like to have 7,000 pounds walking sideways 40mph going down a road :-laf :D

Luken I know what you mean (40 mph). My truck is NOW a blast to drive, and this winter i will be plowing snow with it, hauling gravel and building supplies for my house, bass boat this spring and anything else i need it for and next oct i am taking it out to colorado to go elk hunting.

Justin:

Hey buddy, a big CONGRATULATIONS to you on your great numbers!! ;)

I cannot see the dyno sheet that was posted, as it is very blurry, but did you have high H. P. at Marks Event?

BTW,... . I have my old 1996 back from Scheid Diesel and it REALLY runs great now!

Take care buddy!

HEHEHE Adam use's the power pretty often actually. :-laf Including sideways down Battlefield in Springfield at 50 mph. But the truck is set-up for pulling. He pulled 322 feet last Saturday night and was having new set-up issues with the truck. His " other" street car is a low 9 second Toyota Supra. That is probably making over 900hp but he isn't really impressed by dyno numbers. It's set-up to run in the drag radial class at the local track. And he drives it to work on nice days also.
