Thats old technology. I just saw a 4000hp cummins in a semi puller at Tomah called Dodge Fever.

Ya, but we don't have cylinders that you can stand up in. Thats an 1,150 cube Cummins motor vs. our puny stock 359. You can do the math but I think were still making more HP:CI and definately more HP:LBS.

I shot ~55min of digital video yesterday... all smoker tractors, unlimiteds (4-5 big blocks, jets, Allison aircraft engines... ) and of course... all of the semis...

I went out on Saturday - literally hours before I was supposed to leave for Tomah... and bought the only 3-CCD Panasonic I could find in town. :-laf



Panasonic PV-GS70 - not a bad (very) little rig, IMHO. Far cry from the $100,000 studio rigs I'm used to, but this one should suffice for what I'll use it for. It's last year's model and I got it for $100 less because the place had the pricing messed up on their website...



Maybe I ought to start producing/selling videos.



I'm not posting the vids anywhere, yet... gotta do some editing first.

Then how about a 5. 9 cummins(if that is still what it is) putting out around 2500 HP? If the announcer facts are correct, I seen it sat night. and it's in a pickup not a semi.

Are you going to be pulling at Stanford, this Thursday?

I'm planning on it. The truck is in a million pieces after the pull in Marietta, OH on the 4th. But the good news is we didn't break anything. Just a oil fire. Building too much block pressure and blew the oil return off the top charger and the rubbr seal from around the side cover. Very messy, to say the least. Imagine what seven and a half quarts of Kendall 20w-50 looks like spewed all over your motor. #@$%!
